Why gates drop – and how we stop it
Most gates sag because the posts have moved or the brace was fitted the wrong way. We set posts firmly, brace every gate correctly and use strong hinges, so the gate stays square. If you have an existing gate that has dropped, we can often re-hang or rebuild it rather than replace it.
Latches and locks
We fit latches, bolts and locks chosen for how the gate is used – including lockable side gates that open from both sides, which helps keep bins and bikes secure.
