Doors hung properly, first time
A well-hung door closes with a light push, sits with an even gap all the way round and never catches on the floor. That is the standard we work to on every door we fit in Larbert, Stenhousemuir and across the Falkirk area – whether it is one door that has never closed properly or a whole house of new oak doors.
Doors we supply and fit
- Oak doors – solid and engineered oak, pre-finished or ready to oil.
- Painted panel and shaker doors – primed white and ready for your final colour.
- Glazed doors – bring light into hallways, kitchens and dark landings.
- Fire doors – for kitchens off hallways, integral garages and loft conversions.
- Bi-fold and pocket doors – where a swinging door would get in the way.
What every door fitting includes
We measure each opening individually, because very few frames are truly square – in older properties the house has moved over the years, and in newer homes around Kinnaird and South Broomage frames often shift as the building settles. Each door is trimmed to its own frame, hinges and latches are cut in by hand, and handles are fitted and adjusted. Where a lining is badly out, we correct or replace it rather than leave a door that sticks.
If your door facings are chipped or dated, it makes sense to replace them at the same time – see our facings and skirtings service.
Fire doors fitted correctly
A fire door only protects you if the whole assembly is right: a suitable frame, intumescent seals, the correct number of hinges and a closer where one is needed. We fit fire doors to the manufacturer’s instructions and, for loft conversions and alterations, to the specification in your building warrant drawings.
Already bought your doors?
No problem. We regularly hang doors that customers have chosen themselves. Send us the sizes before you order and we will check them against your frames so there are no surprises on the day.
Planning a bigger update? New doors pair well with wall panelling in the hall and fitted wardrobes upstairs.
