Character, built into the walls
Wall panelling adds depth and character to a room in a way paint alone cannot. It protects busy hallways from scuffs, gives bedrooms a feature wall behind the bed, and can make a plain new-build room feel like it has always been there. We design and build panelling on site for homes across Larbert and the Falkirk area.
Panelling styles
- Shaker panelling – clean, classic frames that suit almost any home.
- Box or picture-frame panelling – applied mouldings for a more traditional, elegant look.
- Tongue-and-groove – ideal for bathrooms, boot rooms and cottage-style rooms.
- Half-height, three-quarter or full-height – with a capping rail or shelf at the top if you want one.
- Stair panelling – set out to follow the rake of the stair so the panels line up with the treads.
Made to fit your room
Good panelling depends on the setting-out. We plan the panel spacing around your sockets, switches, radiators, windows and doors, so the layout looks deliberate rather than squeezed in. Moisture-resistant MDF is our usual choice for painted panelling because it stays stable; solid timber suits stained or natural finishes.
Finishing
We fix the panelling securely, fill and caulk the joints and leave it ready to paint. If you would like it painted too, just ask when you enquire.
Panelling works beautifully alongside new internal doors and matching skirtings, and a panelled alcove can be combined with fitted storage.
